Welcome. I am Christina Brockmöller, a concert pianist, educator, and collaborator. Operating across the greater Seattle, WA area with an active presence in downtown Bellevue, my studio welcomes students of all levels and stages and is currently open to a select number of new enrollments.

Postgraduate Specialization and private studies in the Taubman Approach, focusing technical retraining to build a healthy, effortless technique for a lifetime of musical expression.

Beginning: Children (Ages 5+)

Adults: Personal fulfillment, beginners, returning students, or professional musicians.

Teaching Philosophy

Your whole life comes to the instrument with you. At the piano, I always felt completely free to express, create, grow, and dream. Interpreting demanding works taught me to remain true to the composer's work, while still maintaining a sense of my voice.

I want my students to walk away from their lessons feeling led to discover, learn, dream, and play. Through the piano, we explore our voice in the world, relating to others through a profound form of communication.

In my teaching, I emphasize clarity, consistency, and depth of study. My focus is on helping you develop efficient, natural movement at the instrument, secure technical foundations, and a responsive musical ear that supports your own independent artistic thinking.

Rooted in classical training, I integrate a focused and comprehensive approach to musical study with an active engagement in new music. I draw from established classical traditions and apply pedagogical principles guided by you as an individual, rather than following a single fixed method system.

I focus on nurturing deep musical expression, healthy technique, and a lifelong love for the piano. Ultimately, my goal is to help you build independent musicianship through structured, focused study over time.

Framework

Piano study is organized through a progressive structure, seamlessly tailored to each student's unique milestones:

Foundations: Posture, rhythm, musical literacy, reading fluency, core technical habits.

Keyboard Wellness: Alignment, coordination, efficiency, ease of movement.

Musicality: Ear-training, music theory, tonal control, expressive phrasing.

Artistry: Repertoire refinement, interpretation, and music history.

Creative Paths: Composition, improvisation, sight-reading, ensemble coaching.

Performance: Preparation for recitals, auditions, festivals.

Curriculum materials and repertoire are customized for each student following enrollment.

Tuition & Enrollment

An introductory session is required for all new students. The complete Studio Policy and academic calendar will be provided for your review prior to your introductory session.

Enrollment is structured to reserve your dedicated recurring time. Rates for monthly tuition—including 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions—are provided upon consultation.

For maximum transparency, you are only billed for active weeks of instruction and are never charged for dates when the studio is closed. There are no studio registration fees.

Focus & Digital Privacy

To maintain absolute artistic focus and protect student privacy, this studio does not maintain a public social media presence. Lesson and concert recordings are never shared publicly. Instead, they serve as an intimate journal of each student's musical journey and a vital learning tool, kept entirely secure within our private studio community.
