Enrollment begins with a paid introductory session to evaluate the student’s level, clarify long-term goals, and establish a customized lesson structure prior to confirming a schedule.​​​​

Annual Structure & Scheduling

• Core Year: Consistent weekly attendance from September 1st through June 10th (excluding holidays and studio closures). 

​

• Summer Term: June 20 – August 15 operates on a flexible schedule. Booking a minimum of six summer lessons grants priority placement for the upcoming Fall semester.

Performances: The studio hosts 2-3 formal recitals each Mid-Autumn, Winter and Spring; specific dates and venues are shared privately with enrolled families.

Studio Tuition & Enrollment

• Tuition rates and scheduling are provided during a brief introductory phone consultation.

Holidays & Breaks

• Students are never billed for scheduled studio holidays & studio closures.​

Payment Options

​

Tuition is collected strictly in advance via Zelle or check.

 

• Option 1: Monthly Billing – Invoices are issued two weeks prior to the first of the month for the upcoming lesson cycle. Balance is due by the 1st of the month. Payments received after the 5th will incur a $25 late fee.

 

• Option 2: Per Term – Paid in full at the start of each semester block. Total tuition is calculated by multiplying your weekly rate by the exact number of active teaching weeks in that block. Mid-term enrollment is pro-rated.

Fees & Materials

• Annual Registration Fee: $0

• Recital Registration: $85 fee per recital.

• Studio Materials: Either you purchase materials via instructor links, or the instructor purchases them and adds the exact cost to your next invoice.​​

Illness, Weather & Attendance

​

• Stay Home if Sick: Please do not attend lessons if you have any symptoms of illness, even if you attended work or school that day.

​

• Tuition Policy: Because your time slot is reserved exclusively for you, tuition for missed lessons is non-refundable.

​

• Student Absences: To support students during unavoidable illness, the studio hosts one dedicated make up day per semester. Because these spots are limited, they are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed.

​

• Weather Pivots: If winter weather turns hazardous, lessons automatically pivot online for the day.

​

• Teacher Absences: If the instructor misses a lesson due to illness or professional obligations, a makeup lesson will be provided. Invoices are not credited or refunded.

Studio Environment

• Online Lessons: Available in 30, 45, or 60-minute formats. Students simply need a clear view of their hands, and keys.

• The Focused Environment: To build confidence and independence, lessons thrive best in a quiet, distraction-free room. Parents of young beginners are welcome to assist with initial transitions.​

​Focus & Digital Privacy

​

To maintain a clean website and protect student privacy, I choose not to host a public social media studio presence. Upon enrollment, students sign a media form regarding photos and videos taken during recitals or occasionally during lessons. Whenever I capture media during a lesson, I am always transparent with you about the recording. Rather than being shared publicly, these recordings serve as an intimate journal of each student's musical journey and a vital tool for learning. Everything stays safely within our private music community, providing a meaningful record as students advance toward their own artistic milestones and independent musical pursuits.

Studio Partnership

​

• Withdrawing: You may pause or end enrollment at any time by providing two weeks’ written notice.

​

• Mutual Fit: Ongoing enrollment depends upon a positive, respectful collaboration. The instructor reserves the right to conclude lessons if a student is consistently unprepared, or if a student or family's conduct lacks mutual respect and professional courtesy.​
